These terms explain how you can use our website and how we work with clients on software projects - including quotes, payments, ownership of the work and support. Please read them before starting a project with us.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the MuchiTec website and to software development services provided by MuchiTec, a company based in Lahore, Pakistan. By using the website or engaging us for a project, you agree to these terms.
For each project, the signed proposal or agreement ("Project Agreement") sets out the specific scope, price and timeline. If it conflicts with these terms, the Project Agreement takes priority.
2. Using our website
The content on this website, including text, design, logos and images, belongs to MuchiTec or is used with permission. You may view and share it for personal or business evaluation, but you may not copy or reuse it commercially without our written consent.
Projects shown in our portfolio remain the property of their owners and are displayed to illustrate our work. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
3. Proposals and quotes
- Every project is priced individually based on its requirements. Quotes are fixed for the agreed scope.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- Work starts once the Project Agreement is accepted and any initial payment is received.
- The first consultation is free and creates no obligation for either side.
4. Payments
- Payments are split into milestones, as set out in the Project Agreement.
- Invoices are due within 7 days unless otherwise agreed.
- If a payment is overdue, we may pause work until it is settled, and the timeline will move accordingly.
- Prices exclude any third-party costs such as hosting, domains, app store accounts, paid APIs or licences, which are paid by the client.
5. Scope changes
The price and timeline cover the agreed scope only. If you would like to add or change features, we will quote the change separately, and no extra work starts until you approve it.
6. Your responsibilities
- Provide content, feedback, accounts and approvals on time, as delays can affect the timeline.
- Make sure any materials you give us (text, images, logos, data) are yours to use.
- Test the work on the staging environment and give feedback before it goes to production.
7. Ownership of the work
Once the project is paid in full, you own the code, designs and documentation we created for you, and we transfer access to the repositories and accounts.
Open-source libraries and third-party tools remain under their own licences. We may reuse our general know-how and non-client-specific tools. Unless you ask us not to, we may show the finished project in our portfolio; we never publish your confidential information.
8. Confidentiality
We keep your business information, data and unreleased plans confidential and only use them to deliver your project. This continues after the project ends.
9. Delivery and support
- We demo progress regularly and deploy to staging first; changes go to production once you approve them.
- Every project includes 30 days of post-launch bug-fix support for issues in the work we delivered.
- Support does not cover new features, changes caused by third-party services, or edits made by others. These can be quoted as new work.
- App store approval is decided by Apple and Google; we prepare submissions to their guidelines but cannot guarantee approval.
10. Warranties and liability
We build every project carefully and professionally. Beyond the support described above, the work is provided "as is", and we do not guarantee it will be free of every error or meet business results such as sales or rankings.
To the extent allowed by law, MuchiTec is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data, and our total liability for any project is limited to the amount paid for that project.
11. Ending a project
Either side may end a project with written notice. You pay for the work completed up to that point, and we hand over that work once it is paid.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute will first be discussed in good faith; if it cannot be resolved, it will be handled by the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in place when you accept a Project Agreement applies to that project. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
